Banksy, Oscar material?

The controversial and anonymous graffiti artist Banksy, is nominated for his film 'Exit Through The Gift Shop' in the category of 'Best Documentary' in tonights Oscars. In the run up to the Oscars this past week, Banksy has left his mark throughout LA, as seen in the above link. There is giant speculation surrounding the Oscars, with people wondering how he will collect his award if he does indeed win? If he'll even turn up to the events? One thing for sure is that his presence can now be felt throughout the city, on walls, derelict buildings and even billboards on the Sunset Strip. One piece of 'Charlie Brown' artwork on the side of an abandoned fire damaged building reportedly fetched $8,000, after it was actually cut out of the wall!
Another piece of his artwork has a guard watching over it to prevent any potential damage. In light of the Oscars I do believe that he will take the prize, and I cannot wait to see, during the early hours of the morning, how the award ceremony will unfold!
